Shri Vellayan was among India’s finest business leaders—an exemplary human being whose foresight, humility, and compassion earned the respect of all who knew him. Since taking charge as Chairperson in 2018, Shri Vellayan steered IIM Kozhikode through a phase of stellar growth and global visibility. His unwavering support, wise counsel, and belief in the Institute’s mission enabled us to scale new heights. He was a guide and mentor who always stood by IIMK, offering direction with grace and foresight.
